Only 5 more days!
Dear Family and Friends:
The big day is less than 5 days away! We now have all the details planned, invitations sent and ready to let the fun begin. Michael's parents arrive tomorrow evening, there is a shower/bachelorette party on Friday evening, family reunion on Saturday, rehearsal dinner on Sunday, wedding on Monday and finally a honeymoon on Tuesday. We're spending a few days at the fabulous Sorrel River Resort in Moab and excited to do some hiking and Hummer tours, and possible whitewater rafting.
To extend the honeymoon we have a trip planned for China in October and plan to not only be together on the Great Wall of China but also attend the World Expo in Shanghai. I'm excited to go back to China and hope I'll be there many more times. Plus I'm very excited to share China with Michael! we plan to have our honeymoon last a lifetime and this is just the beginning.
The wedding is Monday, June 21 at Heritage Gardens in Sandy, UT. Mayor Dolan is performing the ceremony. Looking forward to seeing you there and thank you for sharing our special day with us!

An Update on the fun
Dear Friends and Family:
We've been remiss in posting to our blog so I'm getting on the ball updating considering the wedding is coming quickly.
Michael and Dozier arrived safely to Utah on May 5. He drove up to the house, I was out front, and he peebed the horn of the moving truck and was waving, Dozier was hanging out window -- it was quite adorable. I made a sign that read, "Welcome home Michael and Dozier" and had balloons around it. Since that day it's been a whirlwind with getting boxes unpacked, moving furniture around and organizing the wedding at the same time.
Unfortunately for Michael he unpacked my stuff that had been stored at my brother's house for the last 8 years. Now that it's getting unpacked it seems like Christmas seeing so many items I forgot I had.
Michael and Dozier love the weather in Utah! Every day Dozier just wants to be outside rolling in the grass -- he loves it. We also had a family party on Sunday that was a barbeque and potluck to celebrate and welcome Michael to Utah. I'll attach pictures soon but I did make a cake that had a fishing boat, a lake, a tent and a campfire and read, "Welcome to Utah Michael and Dozier". It was fun and it gave people in my family a chance to meet Michael. And a chance for Michael to get used to a big family. :-)
We finally registered, invitations are going out today and tomorrow so watch for them, and we're finalizing details for the wedding that's only about 5 weeks away. We're happy that people we love can share in the big day!
